He noted how much was left in the glass but knew he had to give the ex-General a break. He waited for indication that Sephiroth would take more and only then would raise the glass again.

His arm remained protective around his partner's neck and shoulders, keeping the ex-General close to him even if Sephiroth had made no indication to wanting to be away from him.
"There's nothing wrong with the way that you are," he murmured softly, trying to soothe his partner. "I like you the way that you are, and every day you reveal a little bit more of yourself to me."
