Characters: Aerith & Tifa
Location: The park
Rating: PG
Time: December 16th
Description: Tifa goes to meet up with Aerith. Cue the waterworks.
It was difficult not to feel anxious as Tifa made her way to the park to meet up with Aerith. She’d seen her though the network, talked to her, but there was always the chance some mistake had been made. It didn’t do well to entertain fantasies about the dead returning, about meeting the people dear to you once again in this life. Tifa knew that. And so she’d tried not to get her hopes too high that this Aerith would be the Aerith she knew.
Seeing Zack at the festival had been one thing. Already she was starting to believe all this was possible, but it would be too cruel to have expectations of Aerith just to have them dashed. What if she didn’t remember everything? What if she did and it somehow meant less now to her? All these thoughts built up in Tifa’s head and by the time she reached the park, it felt like a rock was sitting in her stomach.
She looked around her for her now, trying to ignore the nerves building up.
