Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.

Medics (and First Aid Training, lead by Naomi Kimishima): All the medical people.
Audience: Because some people just want to watch.
Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

One way is to assess your strengths and your combat experience to see what sort of ability you are likely to possess.

Well... I'm an alchemist, so it's probably something to do with that.

What is alchemy like in your world? [He is so going to take notes on this. Because in the modern world, alchemy is pretty much history.]

[toukakoukan]

Oh, it's... [He pauses for a moment, wishing he could just demonstrate it, but it can't be helped.]

It's basically the understanding, deconstruction, and rebuilding of matter using energy that comes from the earth. We follow the principle of 'equivalent exchange'--for whatever is brought forth, something equal must be returned.

[He doesn't mention that it probably seems like magic to most people because to him it's pure science.]

[prosecutory]

[And not only is alchemy pretty much history, it's more fantasy than history.

Anyway, he nods while writing it all down. Yes, it all seems like magic, but he has seen enough of that here.]

I see. How long have you been an alchemist?

[toukakoukan]

Ever since I was a kid, I don't know... [He can't remember a time when he didn't do alchemy.]

Does that help at all with finding out my power? [His tone is suspicious now as he watches Edgeworth writing things down, frowning a bit]

[Okay, he stops writing when he asks.]

If you have been involved with alchemy for that long, the possibility of it being tied to your Meister ability may be higher. [He's been studying law since like forever, and he's argued a lot too, therefore Soul Talk.]

What are your other strengths?

[toukakoukan]

Fighting... I studied with a teacher to be trained in combat. [He shrugs.] But that's pretty general. Most people here seem to be pretty good at that.

[Well...maybe not Edgeworth. He doesn't exactly seem like a brawler.]

Indeed. But it may still be a factor; many abilities are offensive, or at least, closely related to combat.

[Which is why he gets the ability to talk people to death - I MEAN.]

But the only way to really figure it out is to resonate with people?

[prosecutory]

No. It can be triggered by danger, or you can discover it on your own, depending on what it is.

Hm... I guess I'll see if a situation like that comes along.

How did you discover yours? People just suddenly started doing what you told them to?

No, I spoke to my partner when we were in the midst of battle...and I felt power in my words.
