Rhode jumped a bit when the manager pointed out that they had a customer, grabbing one of the menus she had been playing with and spinning around to see the customer that had managed to sneak past her inattentive watch. The white hair was recognizable before she even took in the rest of him, and her eyes narrowed a bit when she realized that he probably wasn't here by accident. This friendly visit wasn't as exciting as one might expect:She didn't dislike him. She just didn't like him quite enough to feel comfortable with him knowing that she pretended to be a working class girl for her money.
Despite her reservations, she had a job to do. Rhode picked up the order that had been placed on the counter, taking a deep breath before putting on a sweet smile and heading toward his table. She even set his pastry and coffee down without making too much noise or attitude.
"Good afternoon, master. Is there anything else you need?"
