They usually shopped for any groceries in the morning. Usually, they planned it so that most people were still at morning training so that there were less people in the aisles for Sephiroth to possibly get disgruntled at. Plus, he thought it was rather interesting to see a man like his partner pushing a grocery cart leisurely, which would only be done if there were few people around.

They were almost done what he thought they needed anyway. He never took a list; that was what women did. While he knew his mind wasn't a steel trap, he was pretty sure he knew what they needed in the way of food. It wasn't like they ate that much, and shopping trips only happened rarely.

For now, he refused to allow his mind to be occupied with anything but the quiet setting, the rows of food on the shelves and his partner trailing not that far behind him. He stopped to take an item from the shelf and drop it into the cart, heading out of the aisle into the next. He didn't like eating a lot of canned foods, but Sephiroth insisted on survival rations.

"Yeah, but that's another aisle or so over, so we'll get her food then," he replied as they made it halfway down the current aisle before he found something worth taking from the shelf. He turned the can around so that he could read the label. "Don't forget you can grab stuff too."
