[Closed] Execution
Characters: Mondo Oowada and Kyubey
Location: Paegam, North Korea
Rating: PG/PG-13
Time: September 18th, Evening
Description: There is rumour now verified of a murderer who has been stealing the souls of his victims. He appears to move between places at night, as his bloody path is cut along main roads as well as the towns he enters, and he's only getting stronger each day. Authorities who have tried to apprehend the man in question are killed and their souls stolen as well, and the government has reluctantly called in help from Shibusen as this kishin eggs reign of madness increases and more people become victims of his terrorizing.
It's a cool evening tonight. Though, whether that was actually because of the weather or because of the Madness was almost indeterminable... for most people. Terror, fear, anguish, blood, Kyubey smells it all and senses more as he rides on Mondo's shoulder, ears forward. It's quiet here, the streets having long been clear of individuals as the duo come to hunt. Soon enough, his ears come back into a neutral position.
"I wonder how many kishin eggs are actually here."
Considering how many victims there were and the locations, there was little reason to think one egg of a possibly massive stature was able to get around and eat so many people. They would see it coming so another had to be in hiding.

The possibility of multiple targets hiding in wait for their victims hadn't really crossed Mondo's mind. Mostly, he had figured Shibusen wouldn't be sending them out without having a sufficient amount of details about these incidents, though the idea that they didn't have the full story wouldn't be that much of a shock. Putting too much trust into institutions wasn't really his style.
"Even if it's one, two, five, one hundred, there's no way we'd be leaving without takin' 'em all down, right?" He gives a short laugh and a confident half-grin at the thought.

"Of course not. We have to eliminate all targets."
Which Kyubey was always ready to do if it meant receiving their energy. His head craned around, red eyes blinking as he looked out for their target. Nothing, but he figured he would hear it first anyway.

No sense worrying about it right now, however. They'd have to worry about finding one before figuring out if there were more to take care of. At least, with the streets empty and largely quiet, it was easy enough to move around and keep an eye or ear out for anything peculiar.

He stood up and bounded over Mondo's head to his opposite shoulder, red eyes still scanning. Ears turned and soon, both tufts rose high as his eyes gleamed. There; Mondo could probably at least hear the crescendo of that scream coming from a nearby location.

"That's probably for us. You ready?"
Though, not waiting for a confirmation, Mondo's already off in the direction of the scream. Kyubey can answer while they're moving.

Kyubey was always ready. His paws held tight to Mondo's jacket as he ran, ears tuning to the location. Sounded as though something fairly heavy was knocking against stone. Blood reached his nostrils; not fair it was getting the soul.

"Come on, let's take care'a this!"

It's a hulking sight. Bloodied apron, gloves and boots, the executioner's cap covering its head, the egg was holding the innocent soul it just took. It paused mid-step, jagged ax clinking against the ground as it turned towards Mondo. With a faint grunt, it raised the weapon into both hands and began marching towards the teen, each step a small quake.
