Time: 11th of August, 5pm till late.
Description: It's Cloud's birthday! And He's having a surprise birthday party organised by Akiha. So he's being spirited away to the city where anything goes!



[Akiha had sent out the invitations to those on the list that Sephiroth had handed to her. The location was set for everyone to meet in the dining area of the Caesar's Palace hotel for dinner before they would head off to do group indoor sky diving. It was a hot afternoon in Vegas and will be at night, but don't worry, there are plenty of areas where you can escape the heat, like the many bars throughout the casinos.

Later in the night, the bar will be fully stocked and there are tables and machines open and waiting for those who like to gamble. Don't get yourselves into too much debt. Don't be shy to get Cloud a drink or twenty. It isn't every day that you turn 23!

Let's just hope that they don't get banned from Vegas.]

[Las Vegas is filled with far too much energy for his comfort. There are dizzying lights everywhere and a charged atmosphere that makes him feel like he's suffocating. There is no peace in this city, no hour in which everything is at rest, and he's only grateful that there are less people inside, and a mostly unoccupied table that he finds their host of sorts.

He settles in the chair with an internal sigh of relief, feeling almost tranquil for a moment]

Congratulations, Cloud-san. I confess I didn't expect an invitation, but Lee and I were honored to receive one and attend regardless.

[Cloud is also younger than he anticipated, but he knows enough not to mention it]

[Cloud eyes Neji, wondering if the young ninja will ever get rid of that dazzled but on the edge of a headache look. Clearly he needs to get his supervisor out more often, but he supposes the new schedule doesn't leave any of them time to do much more than walk the streets.

He smirks at Neji's look of relief. Yep, needs to get out more.]

Why wouldn't I invite my supervisor to a place that could potentially get me fired from all duties? Besides, if anyone needs a night on the town, it's you, you workaholic.

As I recall, you were the one set on working three shifts before I insisted otherwise. Between patrolling and office work, I believe we're matched in terms of workload at the moment.

[He gives the lineup of varying drinks a contemplative look]

And I'm afraid I can't fire you without significant cause.

I trusted that you would have kept my hard-working needs to a short-term basis, which is fine by me. We don't have to make workload such a competition either; I'm a huge competitor after all.

[He is amused by the idea of competing for more work, and he knows that is not a challenge worth either of them. The more people in the Watch, the better for everyone involved.

He eyes the table as well before shrugging.]

The night is young, my fine superior. I haven't wrecked anything, but if everyone keeps buying me drinks, I'll no doubt give you cause enough before we all go back to Death City.

[Neji tipped his head in a mild shrug, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his mouth]

Just bringing to light that I'm not the only workaholic. I will be looking to relieve Genesis as quickly as possible, before I work on shortening our own work. He splits his time between the Agency and Watch at the moment, and I don't like asking more of him..

[But they don't have a lot of people, and he could digress into that line of talk forever]

And I suppose I won't add to your alcohol content in that case. I've seen Lee do more damage on less.

It seems to me that the Watch is actually just full of dedicated workaholics who really have no need or want for sleep of any kind. Maybe we'll get another good haul of recruits to add to the roster. Maybe some of the golden oldies will return.

[He has always enjoyed working on the Watch, regardless of differences in opinion on certain old workings. It keeps him out of trouble for the most part.]
