Description: angel boy is feeling kind of depressed, so of course his solution is playing the piano at the antiques store.

[kaworu doesn't deal well with melancholy -- or any negative emotions, really. most are still fairly unfamiliar even after 15 years, and he finds such feelings so unpleasant that he tries to distract himself from them or avoid them entirely.

caught up in worry over yako and takuto, and angry at yako's serial killer friend who caused all the trouble, he's retreated to the antiques store again where the old owner lets him play the piano sometimes. it's a nice day so the shop's doors and windows are thrown open, mellow music spilling out into the street. if his playing manages to attract some business to the store, well, it's way of paying back the owner for his generosity.]

[The Embryon leader hasn't had much exposure to music, just what Sera has sung to the tribe - and that did wonders for calming their inner demons.

So when, during some exploration of the city, he hears the piano melody pouring out from a nearby store, he is easily enticed to find its source.
