Description: Mary works on making chocolate.





The dining table already has a tea pot with milk, sugar, lemons, and enough cups for all the guests she was expecting. Once enough people showed up, she goes back into the kitchen a moment.

"I found a lovely book on making chocolate, and I think they've come out well," Mary says as she brings out the cooled trays of heart-shaped chocolates for her guests. "I think these should be okay, but let me know if anything tastes off, okay?

Tenma lights up at the trays of chocolates that Mary Weather brings to the table.

"They look great!" he says as he picks one up to nibble on.

Mary hovered nearby, smiling. "That one is the mint chocolate I wanted to test!"

Tenma grins as he swallows the bit of chocolate. "It's yummy! Did you make other kinds too, Mary?"

XD Nah, she's okay at this in canon, and has only gotten better since she arrived.

Mary smiles brightly, "I made a few! Raspberry truffle, caramel- that one was difficult, dark chocolate truffle, milk chocolate, and I even tried out white chocolate- those are the red ones! I added food colouring! We didn't have that where I'm from- at least not like this! It doesn't add any extra taste!"

"Wow!!" Tenma's eyes practically gloss over as she lists more kinds of chocolates than he ever would have guessed existed. "Which one do you want me to try next?"

Utena let out a low whistle when she saw the chocolates. She had no idea how they'd taste, but they at least looked good. Probably better than anything she could make, anyway.

"I'm sure they'll be fine," she said. Utena gave the tray a quick glance before picking one off the edge, and as she was about to put it in her mouth, she asked, "Which one is this?"

"That one is the raspberry truffle!" She clasped her hands together in front of her with a smile, waiting to see what she said. "I'm worried that it came out a little too sweet."

Utena took a tentative bite, and as soon as the flavor hit her tongue, her eyes lit up.

"If's goo-"

Manners, manners. Utena closed her mouth and chewed more carefully, fully savoring the flavor, before she swallowed.

"It's good," she repeated. "Really good! Is this the first time you've made these?"
