Characters: Lily Ivory + Cybele
Location: City park
Rating: G
Time: 30th of March, late morning
Description: Witch meets Witch. Nothing could go wrong here, could it?
There was a feeling of satisfaction welling within at her victory from the other day. She'd waited so long to even extract a small hint of her revenge on those who had betrayed her, that if felt good to taste it. The victory hadn't all been hers though, which dulled the flavour, but it had been enough of a teaser to let her crave more of it.
That thought left a subtle smirk on her lips as she lay comfortably back against her lion as the pair rested. She didn't think that even that fool of a Shinigami could ruin her mood at this point, even if deep down within she was starting to get a soft spot for the kid. Cybele would never actually admit that to anyone, even if her actions proved much more than words ever could.
Huffing lightly to herself, she rolled onto her side in the grass before reaching out with one hand to stroke her fingers through the large mane of her familiar. "We be needin' to get you some fun again."

As much as the witch enjoyed tending to the extensive collection of herbs on her terrace back home, employment as the park’s gardener seemed to include a dose of frustration bigger'n Dallas. There was the annoying sorcerer planting mystery seeds, alien frogs making a mess of the grass with paint guns, a wolf sleeping in a flowerbed. And that was all in the past week!
Lily sighed as she finished and picked up what was left of the bag of grass seed. She’d return it to the supply shed and then move on to some more pruning. But as she walked across the park, she spotted a woman lying in the grass next to…
“What in tarnation? A lion?!” She stared, wondering if she was hallucinating...

Almost lazily, Cybele continued to thread her fingers through the mane of her lion. Scratching at the large feline's scalp to help distract it, she finally turned her gaze onto Lily to watch her.
"Would you be lookin' at that, a human who knows their animals," she said to her familiar with a chuckle.

“Excuse me, is this your lion?” It seemed like a silly question but where she came from people didn’t just lounge in public parks with lions. And where had the creature come from? Was there a circus in town that she hadn’t heard about? Wherever it had come from, the park wasn’t really a suitable place for such an animal so she’d have to do something.
The animal wasn’t the only reason for her nervousness. She was allergic to felines and her nose was already starting to itch.

"He certainly ain't yours," Cybele initially said while the tail of the lion began to flip back and forth with interest. "What if it is?"
[ooc: so sorry for the delayed replies. My prac's done now so I'll be much faster!]

"Um, well..." Her nerves didn't help and she just blurted out, "You can't have a lion in the park!"
Then, the allergies won and she sneezed.
[OOC: Sorry I completely failed at getting back to this. ._.; I didn't mean to leave it so long but got caught up in more recent threads and plotting. If you'd rather just handwave since it's been so long, that's fine.]
