[CLOSED]
Characters: Prussia and Kurapika
Location: Finland, mission 129d
Rating: PG-13 for zombies
Time: February 8, whole day
Description: They're not going to stop and stagnate just because their partners are gone now. Kurapika and Prussia go on their first mission together.
[Kurapika is anxious, of course. It's not that he doesn't trust in Prussia's capabilities, but the fact that the country has already lost an arm to this world might be making him a bit more skittish than normal. It's a lot different compared to being wielded by Kuroro, certainly. Kuroro could afford to get battered around a bit. Prussia--
He doesn't know what he'd do if Prussia gets hurt while wielding him. The mission they chose doesn't seem to be that difficult, at least. Zombies in a cave. Right. It's probably more important that they don't get hopelessly lost inside these caves. The blond taps at the screen of the GPS to make sure that it hasn't fizzled out on him yet, presses on, and tries not to let his worry show in his posture too much.]

A similar resolve.
Perhaps that was why they were able to partner up, and perhaps that's why they were both willing to push forward from where they were left behind.]
Ya know, this guy . . . this country. He was stronger than he looked. Mild-mannered face like yours but could probably eat a bear if he wanted.
[Referencing to that which was familiar to Prussia (in this case, a fellow country) helped to keep his resolve strong and his mind from wandering. If his brain focused on too many things at once, he would lose focus completely.]
[And it might help to calm the nerves of his citizen as well.]

You mean Finland? He never came here, did he?
[He doesn't know what to feel at being called mild-mannered.]

Nein. He tends to hang around the Nordics and the only one that's been here since then is Iceland.

[There's a patch of gross-smelling mud just up ahead. He carefully side-steps it, and gestures for Prussia to do the same. This cave system is rather damp. And cold. He's glad that he had the foresight to put on a jacket before leaving for the mission.]

[Prussia is surprisingly handling the environment well. Despite being a clown half of the time, he does have his moments of competence. Being used to his own country having a backwater environment, ages and ages ago, this sort of thing didn't faze him too much.]
Do you think you could eat a bear?
no subject
I don't think so... unless I'm starving and there's nothing else to hunt down and eat, maybe?
[There's a fork up ahead. Kurapika stops at the juncture between the two paths and shines his flashlight around. Their mission briefing doesn't say anything about branching paths, but the GPS is telling them to go east.]
