Description: The doctors and nurses are scrambling throughout the clinic to help with the sudden influx of patients.

The first casualties of the invasion started to limp their way in not long after the zombies and familiars began attacking people in the city. Fortunately there are a few concerned citizens doing their best to protect the clinic from being overrun while those within worked frantically to help anyone who was injured. Despite the desperate situation, the clinic personnel have so far been keeping their calm and working professionally to help any and all injured who come through their doors.

*After attempting to take a leap off a building under the influence of the madness, Raidou had placed him here, thinking it to be a safe place. The dhampir had been here for two days now and the overwhelming fear that he might want to hurt himself again started to lessen. Now something else was happening outside and he couldn't do anything to help. Or could he?*

[Raidou had fully intended to stay at Alucard's side at all times until the effects of the Madness disappeared completely. When the sound of sirens reach the clinic, however, he hesitates, torn between staying and going out there to help fight the invaders.

Protecting the city and its people is his duty right now. He knows that. But he can't just leave his partner behind...]

Detective? *He watches Raidou leap to attention at the sound.*

My help is needed. [He turns to Alucard and reaches out to squueze his shoulder.] I will return as soon as I can, so... Can you wait for me until then?

[draculabackwards]

Of course. I'll stay right here.

Be careful, detective.

[timelessummoner]

I will.

[With that, he gives the dhampir's shoulder one last pat and leaves the clinic.]

[Naomi's been busy attending to the victims of the past couple days' madness (both figurative and literal), and it's time for her to come by. This is a bit of an odd case, but...]

How is it today?

[draculabackwards]

Sometimes I can hear things but it's not as strong. I do not feel like doing anything drastic right now. *But feeling ashamed? Oh yes.*

[deadshallspeak]

Good. You should stay here a little longer, until the effects of the madness subside...I only hope this will only be over soon.

[draculabackwards]

I hope so as well.

I don't understand why he doesn't blame me. *thinking out loud*

Are you referring to the one who brought you here?

[draculabackwards]

Yes. My partner. He isn't...he isn't mad at me.

[deadshallspeak]

Were you expecting him to be? You hardly decided to go mad of your own accord.

[draculabackwards]

I tried to do something so terrible. I suppose...I suppose I thought he would be angry that I wasn't stronger. *He hunches his shoulders as he talks.*

[deadshallspeak]

That's not something you should feel guilt over. The madness affects everybody - I've felt it myself. It would be unreasonable for him to blame you for such a thing.

[draculabackwards]

But...suicide is a sin. A terrible terrible sin. *That he almost committed.* How could I not feel guilty?

[deadshallspeak]

You avoided it, nevertheless. Take comfort in that.

[draculabackwards]

Raidou made sure I avoided it. *The problem was, he DOES feel that poorly about himself. How does one begin to fix that?*

[deadshallspeak]

Then be glad you have a good partner, and be careful of the madness in the future. That's all you can do right now.

*Alucard bowed his head.* Yes, my lady.

*As he isn't physically injured, he says then,* Is there anything I could help you with? For those who cannot move?

Very well. It...it might help so I'm not thinking about it so much.

Do you have any previous experience? Not everyone has formal education or experience here, but possibly some training in first aid?

[draculabackwards]

I am afraid it is not something I am well-versed in. *pause* I could learn?

Of course. In times like these, another pair of hands is never too many.
